1Misery

No supernatural demons or hauntings here. Just a classic story of a person gone mad with adoration and the unwilling subject of that adoration.

2Insomnia

One of those books that not as many people have heard of because it was never made into a movie, but really, a 2 hour cinematic production simply could not do this story justice. Insomnia is one, if not the deepest Stephen King books and it will definitely leave you thinking about it long after you have read the last page.
